Thread colours

A page for every thread in four ranges, 1793 in all. Each one shows the colour beside its closest neighbours and the same colour in the other three ranges.

Most patterns list DMC numbers. If you stitch with Anchor, Madeira or Cosmo, a conversion chart tells you which of your threads to use instead.

No swap is exact. Every maker mixes its own dyes and picks its own colours, so the shade you want often has no twin in another range. The nearest one is the best there is. Every chart here says how near.
